Both methods offered, dry mounting and linen hinging, are accomplished with acid-free materials. For the conservation-framing purist, hinging is the only choice as it is completely reversible, helping to retain the full print value. But its drawback is the print may become wavy over time, especially in areas of high humidity. Dry mounting is the best way to go to sustain a beautiful lasting flat image. Unless you believe you have prints that may someday be collectable works of art, we always suggest our acid-free dry mounting.
